Improvement Research On Teachers' Continuing Education System Of "985" Universities

Teachers in university,especially the "985" university teachers who are great power of nation reform,also are talents team and the recourse of strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education.It's also very necessary to strong continuing education of college teachers and promotes the whole quality of teachers on way of society and nation development.Construction of a sound continuing education system is propitious to economy and building well-off society.Now,there are some problems hold back the development of continuing education,such as curriculum and forms single.This paper take the human capital theory,the transfer of training theory,the learning organization theory as the rationale,using the comparison analytic method,analyzing the experience of American,Britain and Japan on constructing of teachers' continuing education system,summarizing their characteristics and profiting their successful experience.Then the paper analyses the current situation of teachers' continuing education system of "985" universities,the problems of teachers' continuing education system of "985"universities and the reasons of these problems.According to the characteristics of "985" universities,the paper suggests reforming curriculum system,building a wide range model of continuing education,enhancing evaluation system and strengthening the support system.Finally,taking Dalian University of Technology as an example,according to introduce the current situation of the Dalian University of Technology on teachers' continuing education system,the paper analyses the achievements and the problems in the process of constructing teachers' continuing education system and makes a further dissertation of these problems.
