The Research On The Setting Up Of Leisure Sports Direction Curriculum In Sports Major Of The Universities In Tianjin

In 21st century, our country's economy develops rapidly, and the per capita GDP has reached to 3266.8 USD in 2008, which denotes that our well-off society has entered leisure age, and leisure has become an indispensable part in people's daily life. As our country is about to unveil "National Recreation and Leisure Plan", we can predict that more and more professional leisure sports talents will be in demand. It is regretful that only five colleges set up leisure sports major, and only very few colleges set up leisure sports direction in social sports major, which can not satisfy the rapid development of our country's leisure sports. Tianjin, as the economic center of northern China, leisure sports industry is developing rapidly, but there is no leisure sports major in Tianjin's university, which contradicts the school-running principle based on society's demand. Meanwhile, the demand for middle and primary school physical education teachers and couches is little, and the graduates' employment rate of the three majors(physical education, sports training, national traditional sports) is worse and worse. Therefore, this paper put forward that leisure sports direction curriculum should be set up in Tianjin universities' sports major, which infuses new vigor to the "traditional" sports major.Based on Maslow's Demand Levels theory, Human-centered Curriculum theory and Taylor's Curriculum Construction theory, by using methods such as literature, investigating, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis and logic analysis, combining the actual situation of Tianjin, this paper discussed the curriculum construction of leisure sports direction. The research got the conclusion as follows: 1) With the rapid development of our country's leisure sports industry, the increasing needs for leisure sports personnel and the deepening of university physical education revolution, it is very necessary to set up leisure sports curriculum in sports major of the universities in Tianjin. 2) The setting up of leisure sports curriculum in sports major should absorb the experiences from the universities both at home and abroad, and it should be under the guidance of the society's needs for the compound personnel in sports and management, and it also should focus on the cultivation leisure sports management. 3) The setting up of leisure sports curriculum in sports major of universities should under the guidance of Taylor's Curriculum Construction theory. The construction of curriculum objective should include cognition, emotion and capability. Curriculum content and structure should be based on objective, practicability, and subjectivity, and it also should combine sports mandatory curriculum and leisure sports direction curriculum, manifest and recessive curriculum, in-class and out-class curriculum. The implementation of the curriculum should be open in teaching contents, teaching process and teaching space. Curriculum appraisal should include the evaluation on the students, the teachers and the curriculum itself.
