In recent years, college artistic education has been paid more and more attention in educational circles. Since early 1990s, classic art has been introduced in campus of a few colleges and universities, which however was in a limited scale and didnot promise well. In 2005, Ministry of Education made a decision that every year colleges and universities should hold theme activites about introducing classic art into campus. In a period of more than three years, Guangdong Province organized various this kind of activites and achieved good results. The author has participated in such activites indirectly and directly many times, and finds it very significant to introduce classic art in campus, but there are also some problems. Therefore, through survey, comparative analysis and interviews, the author, taking document meterials as a basis, explores the influence of introducing refined art in campus. By the researchs for the activities schemes of introducing classic art in campus and the investigations of the programmes, the procedures and the rusults of the concerts and their actors, this paper truly shows the implementing situations and problems of introducing classic art in campus in Guangdong. It finally puts forwards such suggestions as long-term adherence and popularization, increasing investment and multiple participation, combination with other arts and embodiment of diversified concepts, highlighting local features and laying stress on cultural inheritance, and making full use of resources from universities and enhancing art education, etc.
