The Uighur folk art is one of the most important part of Uighur culture, but we regretfully can say that until now , it was not sufficiency studied and given due attention in fine art textbooks and teaching in Uighur primary and middle schools as a school fine art curriculum resources.The Uighur school education having a difficulty in convergence between the mainstream culture and local indigenous, in the rural areas this is even more prominent.This dissertation is set outed from Uighur traditional culture and Uighur folk-customs , exerted and integrated both philological documents and field survey datums by using pedagogical , cultural , artistic , folklore and other related theories to expound the value of Uighur folk art in fine art education of primary and middle schools. By retrospect whole Uighur cultural history and based on autoptical datums of Uighur folk-customs I consider that , the Uighur folk art is a folk art which having bright national characteristic and profound cultural heritage , it was established on the accumulation of historical development of whole Uigur folk culture . It was also a unique manifesting modality of Uighur folk culture and valuable cultural resource of school fine art education , this should be become an important resources to display local folk culture of Xinjiang .
