In this research we studied family educational background factors and parent's educational method having influence on academic achievement of Uighur junior middle school students. In addition , we have a further study about Uighur junior middle school students'totality condition of family education to find the reasons that eventuate the poor academic achievement of minority students . In this text we used questionnaire investigating mode to gather data .The research instrument was Family Educational Condition Questionnaire . The family educational condition of 327 Uighur junior middle school students from four middle schools in URMQI city were investigated . Besides , in the research we adopted the means of visiting and talking with parents and the observation method of cultural anthropology . In this way we can gain all the more exuberant record . The result of this research is that factors having no influence on students'academic achievements included : occupation of parents ,educational level of parents , the economic status of the family , family dwelling condition , family structure , family subscription to newspaper , family communitive language , parents'division of educational supervision , family powerful structure , parents'supervising method , age limit of preschool education . The significant differences existed between students with good achievement and students with poor achievement were : the consistency in child bearing between parents , parents'expectation and tutoring .
