| The Vocational Education Examination (VEE) is an important part of vocational education. The pattern of VEE has greatly effected the orientation and validation of vocational education practices.There are two kinds of VEE patterns in Germany: the traditional examination and the procedure-oriented examination (POE). POE aims to assess all aspects of career abilities of learners by employing various assessment methods. The design of VEE is closely related with job routines such as the task, procedure and working circumstance. To some extent, POE in Germany can give some beneficial reference to the reform of China VEE.This dissertation deeply analyzes POE of VEE in Germany by summarizing literature, investigating facts, analyzing principles, and comparing research which based on the first-hand data and practice. The dissertation consists of the following parts: Firstly, studying the system of VEE in Germany which contains law and operation system. Secondly, presents the characteristics of POE and the reason of its coming up. Thirdly, analyzes the design pattern of POE and finds out the core of it, which is career abilities assessment. Most work in this part has been done on what kinds of career abilities should be examined and how to be examined in POE. Fourthly, investigates the framework of POE which rules out the middle term examine. Many assessment methods are employed in POE, which contains giving speech, making survey, implementing project and performance evaluation from corporations. Finally, concluding the dissertation by analyzing the problems of China VEE and presenting some suggestion of operation. |
