Research On Evaluation Of Postgraduate Education Condition In China's Universities

The conflict between quality and quantity of postgraduate education is getting more and more obvious because of the expansion of postgraduate enrollment in recent years.The solution to the conflict perhaps is the improvement of postgraduate education condition because the postgraduate quality lies on postgraduate education condition.It is proved that the postgraduate education evaluation has a significant effect on improving the postgraduate quality,so the evaluation of postgraduate education condition should have some judging,instructing,verifying and prompting function for the healthy development of postgraduate education because the evaluation of postgraduate education condition is one aspect among the evaluation of postgraduate education.The purpose of this paper is to evaluating the postgraduate education conditions of Chinese universities.Firstly,comparing to foreign evaluation indexes,of postgraduate education,this paper had established an evaluation system of postgraduate education condition.The evaluation system should be adapted to Chinese actuality because it is based on tbe current circumstances of postgraduate education conditions of Chinese universities and is analyzed in theory and practice.Secondly,this paper gave marks to postgraduate education conditions of 169 universities distributing in China's eastern, middle and western districts,analytical hierarchy process,efficacy coefficient method and linear regression method are applied in this evaluation.Finally,this paper examined the empirical relationships between different education conditions and postgraduate quality,and put forward some approaches to meliorate postgraduate education condition and improve postgraduate quality.So this paper had drawn some valuable conclusions, which is helpful for some departments of postgraduate management.
