The Research Into School-based Management And Curriculum Reform In Key Senior High Schools

"School-based management" is a new education management idea and mode that have emerged in school reform movement of basic education in the 1980s in western countries,which is put forward against the traditional"external control management". The basic concept of "school-based management" is that education authorities should distribute its power to the schools to provide schools with more right of decision-making so that schools could decide specific resources distribution, school budget,curriculum,textbook selection and personnel decision-making in accordance with their own wishes and specific circumstances. Then the goal of reforming current management system,optimizing education resources and improving quality of the school could be achieved. The "external control management" refers to the fact that school is only an implement tool of order from outside authority,whose needs and characteristics are neglected,and has no autonomy and responsibility " "School-based management" is not only the need of quality education but also the reform of school and management reform of modern school. This thesis takes XH high school as an example,analyses a series of problems about school-based management from various perspective including psychological aspect,and come up with some school-based management programs in our school and conduct related thinking about school-based development and implementation. The methods used in this thesis are paper searching,questionnaire and psychological analysis. At last the knowledge of mathematical statistics is adopted to lead to the conclusion.
