Based on the social networks and social capital theory of sociology and economics, this study, which collects data through questionnaire surveys and in-dept interviews, describes the employment situations and characteristics of landless peasants and inspects the income and occupational prestige of landless peasants. Furthermore, this article discusses the three channels to occupational status attainment and its roles and analyses of the affection of social networks on occupational status attainment.The correlation analysis of landless peasants'social networks and the occupational revenue shows that whether getting help or not, the weak relationships in the composition of social networks and the mobilization of social networks has strong positive correlation with the occupational revenue. But, the size of social networks is not relevant to the occupational income. In other words, the mobilization of social networks really affects the occupational income.The correlation analysis of landless peasants'social networks and the occupational prestige shows that whether getting help or not and the size and composition of social networks is positively correlated with the occupational prestige. In the mobilized social networks, the helpers'education and profession, the party members, and the role relationship is also positively correlated with the occupational prestige.Through the above analysis, the author discusses that the social networks of landless peasants is important in the occupational status attainment. Moreover, we should think that how to accumulate the social networks of landless peasants.
