Qian Mu is a famous Chinese Guoxue Masters, a famous historian, thinker and educator in 20 century. Qian Mu's life course can be divided into two main lines: the first line is the academic research, and the other is devoting himself into education. Qian Mu's self-evaluation is that teaching is his regular occupation, while reading a book is the sideline. He coached as long auditorium of 1986, spared no effort in the performance of education with no regrets left. Qian Mu to have another education exposition on Chinese traditional and modern education are extremely penetrating into the views of his ideas in language education, educational purposes, educational methods on the insights of the Chinese language education reform to provide a very important reference value. Qian Mu has rich educational practice and original idea. He thought the language education can be summed up as a quality-oriented, cultural-centred education. Language education is of important significance and much inspiration in finding the lost spirit of their homeland,.Qian Mu taught in primary secondary schools in nearly 20 years, and have developed a set of teaching methods which neither follow the beaten track nor stick. Ingenuity often can take to better effect. American scholar Dr Tang Dole summed up a "living classroom Act." ( "Qian Mu and seven bridges the world") "live" is the core of wisdom, based on the broad range of knowledge.The purpose of Qian Mu language education is to train not only the language of the so-called "dominant capacity" - listening, speaking, reading and writing ability, pay more attention to cultivating the language of the so-called "hidden capacity" - the ability of cultural identity, personality, cultivation and taste. Qian Mu in the long-term historical and cultural research, and with the help of teaching on the basis of practice, formed to promote the understanding of traditional Chinese culture and the intrinsic value for ways to nurture students and independent spirit of an ideal life for the purpose of educational philosophy. At present, the new high school language courses focus on comprehensive language learning and commitment to comprehensively improve the language ability of students; especially to cultivate the spirit of innovation and practical ability. Only to change the old model, establish a new teaching model, can language classes be full of vitality, the comprehensive capacity of students be constantly improved, and can students truly become a "social people." Language teachers need to update their educational philosophy, to re-position the language teaching, to constantly enhance their cultural heritage and to lead students to have higher aim, be keen observers of life and found inspirations.The language education and thinking of Qian Mu provided the language of reform with useful inspiration.
