Task-based Language Teaching, short for-TBLT, has once played an active role in promoting the reform of English Language teaching. It has been widely spread throughout the English language teaching in our country, especially in the primary and middle schools. After all, TBLT is imported goods. Therefore, TBLT inevitably faces a series of difficult positions in the junior English language teaching practice. That is why I think it quite necessary to do some researches on the problems and tactic strategies of TBLT to English teaching of the secondary education in our country.First of all, this thesis makes a general summary about the Task-based Approach, and discusses the practical teaching from three aspects. Firstly, Chinese students are learning English as a foreign language. Secondly, Through the differences in the language learning environment, we can draw the conclusion that our major way of learning English should integrate both learning and acquiring. Thirdly, TBLT is different from traditional ones which simply impart knowledge, whereas, TBLT follows the principle from input to output.This thesis mainly does some researches on the teachers, the executors of TBLT and the students, the target of TBLT. According to the survey study, the action research and the comparative analysis, reasons are discussed and tactic strategies are offered based on the problems. There are six solutions: 1. Renew the teaching perception of viewing and try to enhance self-quality 2. Flexibly use the textbook and integrally control the teaching procedures 3. Go deep into both inside and outside the classroom and seize the opportunity for TBLT 4. Understand the function of tasks and transform the knowledge to ability 5. Enforce the cooperative study and ensure the effective accomplishment of the tasks 6. Integrate all kinds of teaching methods and optimize the TBLT courses.Finally, the thesis also offers some advice to our educational administrators: 1. Carry on with more teachers' training to enhance their ability of foreign language application and the designing and choice of the materials and the organization of the class activities; 2. Build more material data banks to make getting TBLT materials convenient for teachers; 3. Do more technical training to the frontline, attempt to get the experts to guide teaching in TBLT. At the same time guide the teachers to do more experiments with good results, sum up and popularize; 4. Change the evaluation system. In this way, it might be possible to quickly and accurately ensure that TBLT is carried out smoothly in junior middle school.
