With the changes of the times,the transformation of society,the challenges come one after another.In order to cope with these challenges and adapt to the future social life better,we need creativity.The key of creativity lies in the talent,the growth of talents depends on education,and the cultivation of creative talents is one of the main goals of today's education.The cultivation of creative talents depends on creative teachers.On the other hand,with the change of knowledge education to creative education,teachers are an important factor in the process of education.Creative teachers are the key to cultivate creative talents and carry out creative education.Creative teacher is an urgent need to adapt to the change of students' learning style in the new era,is the potential pursuit of teachers,professional development,and is the necessary condition to solve the existing problems of basic education.The research on creative teachers has important theoretical and practical significance for the cultivation of creative teachers.The research on the quality and growth of creative teachers should not only be answered from the angle of theoretical research,but also need to back to the individual creative teacher and the teaching practice.The present study was based on the creative teachers as the sample,explored various research methods,such as literature research method,interview method,content analysis method,questionnaire,case analysis,focused on the theme of quality features and growth process of creative teachers.Firstly,conducted in-depth interviews to obtain interviews data on creative teachers samples,collected biography text data of creative teachers from excellent teachers' biographies;explored the thematic analysis to analyze content of the interview data and biography text data;through encoding,induction,and summarizing,we found 32 quality elements of creative teachers.By the method of questionnaire investigation,used exploratory factor analysis to extract five quality features of creative teachers:independent and open personality;diverging thinking style;profound knowledge system;unique and creative professional qualities;inclusive and optimistic emotion feature.The quality structure of creative teachers was constructed and tested.Secondly,analyzed and summarized the text data of the creative teachers' growth process.The study found that the growth of the creative teachers showed stage.The growth of creative teachers was generally experienced five stages:pre preparation stage,professional adaptation stage,self-exploration stage,professional maturity stage,and beyond the self stage.Each stage reflects different characteristics of teachers'growth.Creative teachers were driven by internal and external forces.The internal forces were the ideal and belief of education,the love of education,the need of self-realization and the self-consciousness of independent development.The external power were teaching reform and research.The growth of innovative teachers appeared to continuously update themselves in the process of reflection on problem under the combined action of external and internal forces.Thirdly,analyzed the factors that influenced the growth of creative teachers by using the theme analysis,and found 18 factor elements that influence the growth of creative teachers.Through combing,learning and hard work were the individual factors to promote the development of creative teachers;Teachers' positive reflection on key events and others was the psychological factor to promote the development of creative teachers;Free cultural and institutional environment were the external factors to promote the development of creative teachers.The traditional culture of teachers'authority and examination-oriented,the teaching concept of imparting knowledge to the students and the complicated management system have restricted the growth of innovative teachers.The present study researched the quality features and growth of creative teachers and by the perspective of creative talents growth,found that personality and thinking was the innate quality of creative teachers.We suggested teachers' personality and thinking should be detected in the qualification of teachers.In addition,the research put forward some stages to promote the growth of creative teachers' growth strategy from the creation of cultural environment conducive to creative education,creation of a favorable institutional environment for creative teachers and teacher education reform.
