Research On The Effectiveness Of College Ideology Education

Ever since the carrying-out of our reform and opening-up policy, and especially since the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th Central Committee, the ideological & political education towards college students has been carried on continuously as a long-term strategic mission by the Central Party Committee. The great effort in this aspect has obtained quite tangible effect, and has played the vital role in training the high qualified talented person while maintaining the stability of the college and society.But, facing both the profound change of the domestic and foreign situation and the higher education reform, the ideological & political education towards college students also has many inadaptable aspects and the weak points which have restricted the effect of the educational work.It is a current vital and urgent duty for the college and the ideological & political worker to study thoroughly the long-effect mechanism of the ideological & political education towards college students, to provide the theoretical instruction for it, and to enhance the effectiveness of it unceasingly.This thesis includes 4 main parts.The first part introduces the reason of choosing such a topic, the present situation, the techniques to be used, the content and the significance of the research. The uniqueness of the article lies in the points that the research in the article about mechanism of the ideological & political education towards college students is more comprehensive, systematical, and thorough, and that it is more advanced in promoting the research and in developing the breadth and excavating the depth of the mechanism.The second part has, on the basis of pointing out the concept and connotation of the ideological and political education and its mechanism, expounded the connotation of long-effect mechanism of the ideological & political education towards college students. It further gives a more exhaustive elaboration of the vital significance of constructing the long-effect mechanism from the current international and domestic situation and from the present state of the work.The third part emphatically analyzes the weak points of the long-effect mechanism, and then probes into the roots of such weak points, which may make us soberly aware of the present situation of the ideological & political education towards college students, and then improve our understanding of the importance and urgency of the construction of the long-effect mechanism.The fourth part elaborates comprehensively the countermeasure of constructing the long-effect mechanism, and explains the principle of constructing the long-effect mechanism. It furthermore elaborates comprehensively the content and the way of constructing the long-effect mechanism from the construction of leadership mechanism, teaching mechanism, management mechanism, service mechanism, safeguard mechanism, innovation mechanism, and so on.
