21 century is the century of Information.as well as study,Education faces new challenge. To meet the talents needs of the information socsety, we must change and create our education sense,teaching model and the way of students' study. In computer teaching, how to develop students'creation spirit and practice ability, to stress the principal part position of the students,to change the ways of students' study, become the research task which needs to be solved urgently in IT teaching. IT course in Middle school is a really practical course. At present,the taker model is still the traditional way of imparting knowledge with the help of practicing on computers. It is hard for students to synthesize,apply and create the knowledge or the base of original knowledge. The teaching model of Task-driving is to develop students' synthetical ability,such as the ability of analyzing problems,of solving problems and of acting on their own and cooperating. It fits the aim of training students in IT course.The essay takes study ways of document reference,experiment,questionnaire, comparative method, takes Task-driving teaching in Middle school IT course,designs two different task type teaching case in basic operating study period and synthetical applying knowledge period, by comparing the experimental result between the Experimental class and Contrasting class, and gets the result that Task-driving can improve the class teaching effect effectively and make students master all knowledge points better. By anaylsing the later questionnaire, we get the conclusion that using task-driving teaching method can improve students' study interest and study efficiency.
