With the constant development of information technology presently, it is common that it has been applied in the education in schools. This article, from the perspective of secondary and primary school education, discusses how to use IT as resources and an important media to radically renovate the teaching and learning methods of teachers and students based on the concepts of integration in the information technology environment to cater for the trend voice of curriculum reforms, and to overcome the weak points in the traditional teaching modes, set up new teaching modes, allowing various teaching resources, various teaching elements and processes to give out aggregation effects by optimizing it as a whole through a series of integration, restructuring, merging, so as to push forward the total reform of classroom teaching. Besides, this article expounds the author's experiences and gains from such activities in terms of theories and practices.1. Introduction: it describes the impact and disturbance that the progress of IT brings to education field, points out the issues and challenges that school education is imposed, and raises the issues according to the domestic and overseas research and probes on education and teaching in network environment. In the meantime, it exposes the importance of what this article discusses.2. Set up and practice of new teaching modes: this part describes the levels that new teaching modes comprise in the information technology environment, and objectively analyzes each level of the application of IT in teaching in network environment. This part also analyzes and studies the results of such a teaching mode.3. Study results and analysis: this part describes and analyzes the different results of the three levels of application of IT in teaching practice as mentioned in the above part "Set up and practice of new teaching modes"4. Conclusion and thoughts: the views of this article primarily are the discussions and thoughts based on the fact of school education where IT has more and more widely emerged in every process of teaching, and its increasing influence on school teaching. Basically, we believe the development of IT certainly helps improve the quality of education and education, meanwhile we should keep aware to understand and apply IT standing on dialectical views, so as not to become technology-oriented., because as we know, both the subject and object of education are the changing human being. This article not only analyzes on status quo of the education in the information technology environment, but also summarizes the teaching practice based on theories. However, considering the status quo of secondary and primary school education, my views and analysis on the construction of new teaching modes focus on the reality of education and teaching as well as the application of IT in different subjects and courses. As it can be refined from theoretical perspective, but also builds on rich classroom cases, it is an ideal example combination of theories and practices.
