To build a harmonious campus serves as a solid foundation in building our harmonious socialist society given the fact that there will not be a harmonious society without a harmonious campus. In the sense of our socialist cause, universitites shoulder the noble missions of cultivating future constructers and successors, acting as the pioneers and promoters of the advanced cultures simultanenously and the modal areas of our socialist moral construction. The point of building a harmonious campus is just to create a healthy atmosphere for cultivating elites, to guarantee the quality of elites, to promote the development of the advanced production effectively.and to provide a powerful intellectual support for building a harmonious socialist society. Therefore, to build a harmonious campus is of great significance in building a harmonious society, which is the most important concern for the present thesis. This thesis consists of four parts. Part one covers the connotation of a harmonious campus, including its cultural origin and the achieved progress on it. Part two concerns the main unharmonious charicteristics and areas in our country's building process. Part three relates to the causes resulting in a unharmonious campus. Part four focuses on the mechanism and approach of building a harmonious campus. With these aspects deeply probed into, this thesis aims to put forward a practical, systematic mechanism and approach for promoting the further development of a harmonious campus from a absolutely-new perspective, which can be viewed as a valuable reference to the relevant authorities to lay down effective regulations in building our country's harmonious campus.
