The Reaserch On Jinan's Workers Literacy Campaign(1949-1962)

Amateur education for factory workers has always been an important aspect for jinan education sector.As early as 1948 November Jinan had began this work.Amateur education for factory workers can be divided into Amateur primary education,Amateur secondary education and Amateur Senior Education.In the More than 10 years of early founding of the PRC,educational level of Employees is generally low.primary education had been the most important aspects of education. The Main purpose of primary education is to solve the Literacy problem of Illiteracy and Semi-literacy.This work has been extended from the beginning of 1948 to the early 1960s,in this more than 10 years,all levels of government coordinated Close, took literacy education as a long-term campaign to carry out.The majority of the workers devote themselves actively to the upsurge of learning.Eventually the city's semi-illite rate workers were seldom.The Workers literacy campaign was under the guidance of the central and provincial authorities,meanwhile,according to Jinan's actual situation,in order to went on Literacy campaign,there were many methods such as setting up amateur schools,Organizing literacy classes,recruiting workers to go to school and so on. There have been twists and turns in the Process.But finally fairly good results has been achieved.In this article the Literacy campaign is divided into four periods by the development order,that are The liberation of the early,The national economy construction period,The first Five-Year Plan period,Second Five-Year Plan period. Through the Introduction of the process of the Literacy campaign,the problem,the adjustments of the Relevant departments made,and the analysis of its characteristics, the historical experience of Workers literacy campaign of Jinan was showed,and wish that could provide reference for today's workers Education.
