Currently, competitive taekwondo has a broad mass base in China, lots of people involve in taekwondo training, especially among the youth. Early work of this research is observing the amateur taekwondo training and holding interviews for taekwondo clubs’ directors and coaches, sports injuries happened to amateur taekwondo practitioners and professional taekwondo athletes are both important and should not be ignored. In such a situation, how to prevent young athletes from sports injuries during training and how to carry out rehabilitation training after injury are very important problems.This thesis investigates the status of sports injuries, reasons for sports injuries and countermeasures for sports injuries among young amateur taekwondo athletes in Jinan by the methods of questionnaire investigation, interview survey, observation method and mathematical statistics. The conclusions we can come to through this investigation are as follows:(1)The probability of sports injury among amateur taekwondo athletes in Jinan is high, more than a third. The incidence among boys is higher than that among girls. The damage rate vary with the different training time, people most prone to injury is who have participated in training for more than three years, the rate is more than two-thirds.(2)The part most prone to injury is toes, damage rate is close to a quarter of the total damage. Besides, ankles, fingers and knees are also easy to be damaged. From the point of damage properties, acute injury is more than eighty percent, most are mild injury and moderate damage.(3)From the point of sports injury types, more than a third amateur practitioners in Jinan have a sprain, nearly a quarter of the practitioners have a contusions, skin damage and muscle damage rank the third and the forth.(4)From the perspective of the period when injuries occur, most damages take place in the period of the leg training and actual combat training, accounts for the proportion of the total number of injured were 28.7% and 23.8% respectively. What is different from professional taekwondo athletes is that there are also many injuries occur during the game period and the free period.(5)Most amateur taekwondo practitioners take a rest after injury or get treatment and keep training at the same time because most injuries are mild injuries and moderate damage.the measures are associated with the severity of the injury.Through the analysis of the status quo of amateur taekwondo, it is concluded that the sports injuries happened to amateur taekwondo practitioners are mainly the following aspects:(1)Students’ physiological injury factors:the contradiction between human anatomy structural weaknesses and taekwondo technical requirements; lack of physical quality; lack of technical action; lack of self-protection. (2)Injury factors of psychological and match:influence of social factors; will vulnerability and fear mentality; strong sense of competition and high self expectation; wrong training or competition motivation and inattention. (3)Coaches’ factors:Lack of coaches’ technology; improper grouping and training methods; unreasonable Preparation activities; local overload and sports fatigue. (4)Sports injuries caused by facilities and training venue problems.In order to solve the problem about sports injuries happen to amateur taekwondo practitioners in Jinan, relevant countermeasures are as follows:(1)Countermeasures for practitioners themselves and physical injury factors are strengthen the protection or exercise of easy-injured parts, check practitioners’ condition before class, strengthen physical exercise and improve the awareness and ability of self-protection. (2)Countermeasures for practitioners’psychological injury factors are develop the influence of social relations for practitioners, eliminate fear, cultivate self-confidence, strengthen the cultivation of character and will, learn to relax and train to concentrate.(3)Countermeasures for the trainers are improve their technical level and teaching skills, take reasonable way of grouping and training, lead the students to take enough preparation activities, control the exercise loading, take the technical practice step by step. (4)Improve the facilities and training venues which are able to cause sports injuries. |
