Globalization is an integrated process and trend, in which human beings'economic and social life have crossed the boundaries of countries and areas and people and different organizations communicate and influence each other in a world wide scope. Under the influence of economic globalization, the world's science and technology, civilization, politics and education have all participated in this process. At the same time, every nation has been influenced by this trend to a different degree. Globalization has already become the most meaningful characteristics of 21st century. The national policy of opening to the outside world and the participating to WTO are some of our responses when facing the world Globalization waves. At the same time, we should be aware of the challenges and booming chances that come together with globalization.This paper mainly talks about the impacts that globalization brings to the world higher education. All these impacts give today's world higher education a new international developing environment as well as the challenges and pressures. It gets every nation active responses and makes them adjust their higher education strategies. China's higher education is also involved in this globalization trend and is facing the same or more intensive challenges and pressures. How to face these new challenges and better serve our nation's development is the most important subject for higher educators. This paper gives four main methodologies to lead China's higher education in today's global trend. First is to set up the ideal of serving the society. The second is to use the education tickets plan as the university setting-up system. The third talks about how to break the bottle neck of higher education. And the last one tells us how to pretect our education sovereignty and culture safty.
