Research On Direction Of Major Cultivation And Curriculum Set Of Traditional Sports Of Nations In Higher Phvsical Education Colleges

Higher physical education colleges are cradles for cultivating sports talents, as one of five Sports Subjects, traditional sports of nations (former Wushu major) has a 50 years develop procedure since Wushu became a formal curriculum in Physical Education College (department) in 1954. In July 1998, Ministry of Education issued new set undergraduate sports major, it changed the former "Wushu major" as "traditional sports of nations", this change push the development of traditional sports of nations in Higher physical education colleges to a climax.The cultivation conditions of undergraduate talents is an important index to measure the teaching quality of a Higher education colleges, is an important index to measure the development of a major, and is also an important index to measure the integrity of subject. So far, the undergraduate talents cultivation has become system development, in this system, it includes cultivation goals, cultivation standard, major cultivation direction, and curriculum set program, teacher resources building, teaching materials building. But the most closed relations with talents cultivation are cultivation goals, the set of major cultivation direction and curriculum set. These three fields are related to each other and also limit each other. There is no doubt that so far traditional sports of nations has gained great progress since it come into being in 1984, and the major building are getting better, it has cultivated a lot of talents. But with the improvement of society, the model of talents cultivation cannot adapt the development of society; there are also some problems in major building, especially in employment, this essay aims at finding the problems which are in the cultivation goals, the set of major cultivation direction and curriculum set, and use the methods of documentary, professor interview, logical analysis and statistics to discuss and research these problems. At the end of this essay, it put forward amendments for the expression of major cultivation goals and major cultivation set in traditional sports of nations, and it combined the history development conditions of curriculum program in Capital Institute of Physical Education traditional sports of nations, moreover, it compared the same major with other 9 Higher Physical education colleges, then innovatively came up with the curriculum set program Field—Field model, with the expectation of scientifically build the knowledge system of students, and better approaching the cultivation goals for traditional sports of nations major.
