The Research University is in high arrangement of social science and higher education, it is on behalf of the level of science research and the competition of iternational science and technology.Gernarally, there are plentiful and different disciplinaries in The Research University, which is the capability of interdisciplinary research and the adventage of being innovation production.At present, whatever in home and abroad, fosting the level of interdisciplinary research is attached more important on in higher education practice, awared of the meaning that found the first level research university and improving the ability of science and technology innovation and competition. The interdisplinary research must be based on the orgnizitonal system, so it needs the ensurance of unobstructed orgnization.The author concentates on the interdisciplinary orgnization of research universities in China.after illuminating the relevant backgrand, meaning of research, methods of research, conception and foundation of theory, The paper firstly introduces the history and status of the interdisciplinary orgnizaiton of reseach universities in USA. The two cases of Stanford uinversity and MIT are focused on. After summarizing the experience and elicitation of inter-disciplinary orgnizaiton of research universities in USA, the paper also sums up the history and status of the interdisciplinary orgnizaiton of research universities in China, especially the development of inter-disciplinary organization of Tsinghua University, Peking Unverstiy, Fudan University and Ha Er Bin Institute of Technology. After that, the author finds out the problems with inter-disciplinary with Chinese research universities. Finally, conbining the theories of organizaition and organization innovation with the experiences of interdisciplinary orgnizaiton of reseach universities in USA, in three aspects of organization innovation including strategem, structure and cultural, the author put forword the suggestions of faciliting the construction of interdisciplinary organization of Chinese research universities in the future.
