Study On The Reconstruction Of Student Reports Of Primary And Middle Schools

Student assessment is the crucial part of our curriculum revolution, which should be in line with the requirements for talents in the 21st century. Our practice of student assessment happened in primary and middle schools showed many problems to be resolved. Putting the ideal assessment into practice has become the research focus. Student report as a part of student assessment is the focus of my research.This paper will introduce the related theories as the basis of the reconstruction of student report, analysis the strategies about the design and filling out of the reports and explore the feasibility of reconstruction of the student report of our primary and middle schools. The specific contents of my research are as follows.The first part introduces the existed research results about student report, which is the precondition of exploring the reconstruction of student report. Those research results are not all positive. We can find the reasons of these negative results through the analyst of the gap between the ideal theories and the practice. After introducing the related theories both at home and abroad, this part showed the misunderstandings and reasons of our practice about the design and filling out of student report.The second part focuses on the design and characteristics of the student report of overseas primary and middle schools. The reading guide and subject assessment are the two main contents of this part. This part showed the positive results about student report of overseas schools, which are the good examples for our future practice.The third part concentrates on the filling out of student report of overseas primary and middle schools. Firstly, Teachers' Manual tells the preparation work which our teachers should do before filling out the reports. Secondly, you will know how foreign schools regulating the reviews written by teachers, students and parents, which makes reviews a positive part of student report. These results direct the bright future for us.The fourth part concludes the suggestions derived from the research results of the three parts above. This part gets the advice of the reconstruction of student report, specifically about the design and filling out of student report, on the basis of our existed problems and the overseas experience.
