A Research On The Difference Of The Agreement Degree On The Rights Of The Child Between Parents And Children, And The Relationship Between The Difference And Parent-child Conflic

Since the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child was issued,more and more researchers become interested in the rights of the child.With the advance of the work on the rights of the child, Chinese people know more about the rights of the child.Their consciousness about rights build up, including parents and children. So the armor wants to know how parents and children agree with the rights of the child.The goal is to analyze the difference between parents and children's attitude, and how the difference affects parent-child conflict.Three parts are included in this study, mainly using questionnaire and experimentation method:Part 1 was designed to find out the rights of the child in the family which children concern about.Part 2 was aimed to learn the attitude of parents and children about the rights of child, and the relationship between their attitude and parent-child conflict.Part 3 was arranged to test parents and children's latent attitude about the rights of the child, and examine the relationship between their exterior and latent attitude.The main findings from the present study are as follows:(1) Parents agree on the development rights of the child remarkably under children, such as the right of choosing friend, and the right of entertainment; parents agree on the participation rights of the child remarkably under children, such as self-management and participation in decision-making; parents agree on the privacy rights of the child remarkably under children.(2) With the growth of age, Children's agreement degree on the rights is going up.but parents' attitude doesn't change with the children. So the difference between parents' and children's attitude takes on grade effect.(3) The agreement degree on the rights of the child between father and mother has no difference. Boys agree on the right of participation remarkably under girls.(4) Children are often inclined to underestimate parents' agreement degree on the rights of the child. whereas parents underestimate children's agreement degree on the rights of participation and development.(5) There exists correlation between parents's and children consciousness of the rights of the child and parent-child conflict.(6) Parents and children have the latent positive and negative tendency about the rights of the child. There is complex relationship between the external and latent attitude.
