Research Of Decision-making On The Private Investment Of Post-graduate Education

Cost-benefit analysis is a means to measure the will of investment . Human capital theory regards that education is a kind of investment . This theory was the foundation for cost-benefit analysis using in education field and the theory of sharing the graduate education cost is the prerequite of it. After post-graduae education was difined as private good, people who get post-graduate education will paid tuition in terms of market, thus we can count the cost of the private investment of post-graduate education. Now education is an important factor which influences the people's income, people who get higher education have the higher income. On the basis that all the factors can be computed, we can calculated personal investment rate of return of graduate education, and reached the conelution that personal investment of graduate education is a high return on investment, but there are also a certain degree of risk .The thesis falls into three chapters:In the beginning ,generalizing the human capital theory, the demand of human capital ; introducing the theory of sharing the graduate education cost and define the nature of the post-graduate education, Second, using cost-benefit analysis to analyze the private invesment of post-graduate education. Third, put forward some rational proposals on the choice of graduate education investment:change the idea that the higher education, the higher employment,know what we can do, have the awareness of education investment risk.
