| MartialArts, also known as "Chinese Martial Arts", Martial Arts is an unique sports of the Chinese traditional, and also an outstanding cultural heritage in Chinese, Martial Arts which has a profound cultural connotation, is an important component part of China's outstanding sports culture . For thousands of years the Chinese people use it to keep fit, to mold the temperament, to rich life, to cultivate the spirit and to promote the honor of Chinese national prestige. In the long-process development, Chinese Martial Arts has the penetration of Chinese traditional philosophy, literature, aesthetics, Chinese medicine, military, educational, religious, health, and other cultural thinking, also has a strong ethnic characteristics, strong mass based, and also has the unique theoretical connotation and behavioral characteristics. So, Chinese martial arts formed its own unique and profound way of health and fitness, had became one of the national and traditional fitness projects which has most mass based of our country.Through developed the Martial Arts in school, raised the enthusiasm of practicing Martial Art again in the majority of young people, not only can strength the young people physical quality, but also can lay the foundation for the martial arts culture's inherits and development. However the present situation about the development of Martial Arts in school are actually not very well.In this paper, the autor uses the way of Literature material method, Questionnaire survey , Interviews, Statistics and other research methods,and conducts a detailed study on the Martial Arts'development in the school, Especially after June 8,2001 the National Ministry of Education promulgated"Elementary education Curriculum reform Summary"(i.e.:summary), according to the "Summary",formulates sports and the health new Curriculum Standard (i.e.: The New Curriculum Standards). Research the Martial Arts'development under the situation of promoting The New Curriculum Standards vigorously in various schools .The country pays more attention to the sports curriculum's value seems as if that vigorous development. of the Martial Arts will be possible in the school.In this paper, the author is to find the mathord to promote the Martial Arts in school mainly according to the spirit and request of The New Curriculum Standards.They are based on two reasons: (1) In the author opinion, the guide principle of The The New Curriculum Standards is a"slogan" to be promoted. From ancient times, China has been a rather long and well-developed cultural of slogan , "slogans",this type of inspiring and appealling are the special traits, which often concentrated the mainstream of the information age, outlined the needs of a society. Recently the Chinese Youth' quality of Sports ablity declined annual, the Government, Social and family became anxiety, the survey showed that young students' basic sports quality declined largely compared to their Contemporaries in the 1970s and 1980s, this was not commensurate with the Chinese rapid economic development, material wealth. The State Council, the Ministry of Education and other relevant departments call to pay attention to the physical and mental development of young people, and urge all subordinate departments to take measures to strengthen physical training and keep the guarantee health who are the future of the motherland. Objectively speaking, The New Curriculum Standards can give Instruction to all types of schools to develop all kinds of sports. In China, the slogan form will always exist and continue, so researchers to promote Martial Arts will have a large mission to do.(b) Chinese Martial Arts were undergo lots of deterioration and Prosperous in school. After the founding of New China, the Martial Arts gradually went into the various types of schools, impacted by various factors, Martial Arts was very popular in the school at once, but now It is at a stage in the doldrums. Martial Arts,when speaking from a technical level, it is a sport,but from the history ,it is a traditional culture. Numerous Martial Arts masters share a common understanding of the nature of the Martial Arts sports: "It is a sport but higher than sports; It is from China, but in the world." And as the scholars study of cultural theoretical should be well aware that the Martial Arts is a unique culture, and culture is the soul of a nation, is the sustainable development and the power source of human society .Chinese culture is the spiritual bond of the Chinese nation and the spirit hourses of the Chinese people, and is the foundation of Chinese advanced culture. Young people are a perennial transmission of human civilization, the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation. If a nation portray the young as representatives of their own culture that they can continue the traditional culture successfully, reconstruct the spirit of the national successfully. So,to promote Martial Arts, young people are the main power. Liang Qichao said that in a paragraph in : "Today the responsibility, not others, but all in our entire juvenile. When our entire Junior smart ,the state will smart, when the whole Junior expensive , the state will expensive ,Junior strong, the country will strong, young independent that the country will independent , the young free ,the state free, the young progress the state progress, the young are better than Europe, the state better than Europe, the young stronger than the earth ,the state stronger than earth. Develops the Martial Arts In the school, stimulates the enthusiasm of the young people fully to practice Martial Art, and join the outstanding thought which contains inside the Martial Arts and the modern moral education together , promotes our young people developt fully contains morality, intelligence and physique. "Martial Arts will be populared by the word if only flourished in young.By Literature material method,The Author is to find the current difficult of the Martial Arts development in school under the spirit and request of The New Curriculum Standards , In view of each kind of development situation about school Martial Arts, researched one by one ,join some school Martial Arts' development promotion and spirit of The New Curriculum Standards together, implements the spirit of The New Curriculum Standards firmly, know the significance of Martial Arts practical undertaken by school; in request of The New Curriculum Standards, Full understanding the main study consciousness by study school martial arts; The changed idea, the role of organizer transformation from the superintendent to servers; Strengthens the teacher vocational training, establishes the main position of the teacher; suitable improve the contents about school Martial Arts, to make the student accept easier; Uses the teaching material proplely , increases the native characteristic Martial Arts content suitably; Pays great attention to the procedural appraisal during the students studying , multiplicate the assessment methods; establish regional Union of Martial Arts between schools,strengthens the relation; takes the National University Student Martial Arts competition as a platform and display the results to other schools and so on, and puts forward some proposals for the school Martial Arts developed normally.Although some views has been discussed by our predecessors,some worth practice extends from The New Curriculum Standards are also mentioned and proved in other sports items (track field, ball games), but the research which put The New Curriculum Standards and the school Martial Arts' development together are quite few. From now on, taking advantage of 2008 the Olympic Games will conduct in Beijing, vigorously develops the school Martial Arts, will break the declining tendency about Martial Arts in the school, and is beneficial to provide a spot of thinking by other researchers. |
