This Studying the curriculum development of Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School can grasp the characteristics and laws of its curriculum development.Continuously exploring its successful experience in running a school can provide a certain reference basis for the development of martial arts schools in China,and promote the prosperity and inheritance of martial arts culture,which has certain theoretical significance and practical value.Through the methods of literature review,logical analysis,and field interviews,this study takes the development of curriculum change in the Dagou Shaolin Martial Arts School as the starting point,and on the basis of sorting out the course of curriculum change in the Dagou Shaolin Martial Arts School,in-depth understanding of the overall trend of curriculum change and development in the Dagou Shaolin Martial Arts School.This article analyzes the main characteristics of the curriculum changes in the Dagou Shaolin Martial Arts School from four aspects: curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum facilities,and curriculum evaluation,discusses the main problems in its curriculum development,and finally proposes suggestions for the future curriculum reform and development of the Dagou Shaolin Martial Arts School.The main conclusions are as follows: First,after years of development,the curriculum system of Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School has also undergone continuous changes.From a longitudinal perspective,it mainly includes three stages:the establishment period(1978-1985),the development period(1986-2012),and the high-quality development period(2012--).The curriculum systems of these three stages are closely related,but also have very obvious differences.During the founding period(1978-1985),the main manifestations of the curriculum development of Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School were: unclear curriculum objectives,relatively simple curriculum content,unscientific curriculum implementation,and imperfect curriculum evaluation.The third is the development period(1985-2012).The main performance of the curriculum development of the Dagou Shaolin Martial Arts School is as follows:the curriculum objectives give consideration to both student development and school development;The course content has changed greatly,but is constantly enriched;The curriculum facilities are gradually changing from a master apprentice management style to a humanistic one;Curriculum evaluation is gradually changing from unitary to pluralistic.Fourth,during the period of high-quality development(2012--),the main performance of the curriculum development of Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School is: gradually achieving hierarchical and detailed curriculum objectives;The course content emphasizes the combination of theory and practice;The implementation of curriculum highlights the main position of students;Curriculum evaluation and assessment emphasize the combination of teacher evaluation,mutual evaluation,and self-evaluation.Fifth,the curriculum development of Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School includes both the development of "literature" and the development of "martial arts",mainly including the following four characteristics: the shift in curriculum objectives from emphasizing "school" to emphasizing "people";The curriculum content has shifted from emphasizing practice to emphasizing both theory and practice;Curriculum implementation has shifted from teacher led to student led;Curriculum evaluation is from unitary to pluralistic.Sixth,the difficulties in the development of the curriculum in Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School are mainly manifested in the following aspects: curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation,and curriculum evaluation.The main problems currently exist are insufficient play of the guiding function of curriculum objectives,insufficient rich and systematic curriculum content,unscientific and standardized curriculum implementation,and lack of curriculum evaluation and feedback mechanisms.In order to promote the future development of Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School,in terms of curriculum reform and construction,it is necessary to comprehensively integrate curriculum objectives with the development of "people" as the core.According to the overall needs of the school’s development,it is necessary to constantly revise and summarize the curriculum objectives at different times,actively involve students in formulating curriculum objectives,and lead the direction of curriculum reform at the Tagou Shaolin Martial Arts School.The second is to combine realism with modernity and constantly enrich the curriculum content.Enriching the curriculum content should focus on both the practical and theoretical levels,actively integrating ideological and political education,traditional Chinese culture,etc.into the curriculum system of the martial arts school,and promoting the continuous improvement of the curriculum system.The third is to highlight the dominant position of students and standardize the process of curriculum facilities.We should continuously strengthen the construction of rules and regulations,strengthen teaching management,and reform the concepts,methods,and means of curriculum facilities.It is necessary to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning in various ways and comprehensively improve teaching effectiveness.Fourth,we should adhere to multiple evaluations and attach importance to the use of results.Curriculum evaluation should not only achieve the transformation from monism to pluralism,emphasize student participation,but also strengthen the application of results in curriculum development.It is necessary to improve the feedback mechanism of curriculum evaluation as soon as possible,gradually achieve the goal of promoting construction and reform through evaluation,and continuously strengthen the position and role of curriculum evaluation in curriculum reform and development.
