It is well-known that the sensitive issue—salary is closely related to the staffs'interests. In CPC's conference of 2006, the 26th, the reform of income distribution system and stipulation of income distribution order are explored. As an institution, the higher schools'salary distribution becomes very important under this circumstance. Nowadays, the income of Chinese college teachers is composed of four parts in form: they are national salary, school allowance, national and school subsidy and various welfares. The former three parts made up of teacher's salary, which seem complicated. However, it is also can be defined as stable salary and alterable salary. The national salary and its subsidy are the same in one area, and school subsidy variables in the light of different schools, which are relatively stable in the same school. Therefore, these two parts are essential salaries. The alterable salary consists of school allowance and all kinds of prizes according to the teachers'different performance. At present, the alterable salary is becoming more and more important in teachers'total income, which is called encouraging salary based on post, considering ability and achievement. This thesis mainly discusses contract management viewing at encouraging salary of teachers in universities.It is considered to be principal-agency relations between teachers and the universities during their"trade"if we regard teachers as agent and the universities as consignor. From the degree of economy, the salary contract can maximize the university while the teachers can make their value maximization. However, either the problem of"adverse selection"before signing the agreement, the teachers'personal information can not be got, or after the agreement, the teachers'efforts are variables, both of which will result in the moral risk of teachers. Under the circumstance of mismatch information, how to fulfill the maximization of aims between the agent and the consignor is critical. Herein the contract management of encouraging salary can balance the agent and consignor during the economic behavior, for the purpose of maximizing the effect of encouraging salary.The thesis consists of five sections:In section one, it mainly discusses the current status and problems of teachers'salary management in university from the history degree, after which, the defects of equalitarianism, unreasonable structure and weak encouraging system, etc.In section two, the basic concepts of income and contract management are put forward. Then the theory of economy and management are followed to analyze the"converse selection"before signing the contract and"moral risk"after sign.Section three illustrates the position and function of contract management in teachers'encouraging salary in university from the aspect of internal management system.Based on the second analysis, the basic idea of encouraging salary management in contract, including providing multiple contracts, distinguishing personal information system, bettering probation and delaying checking and the like are set forth.The last section offers some measures to avoid the risk during the contract salary- encouraging system for lack side effects.The focuses in the thesis lies in the second and the fourth section. Under the guidance of contract salary-encouraging way in information economical, it tries to explore the contract salary-encouraging management from the micro degree--- principal-agency relations, what is more, the general idea of construction about contract salary-encouraging management.
