Set Theory is the basis of modern mathematics, and the set theory of language has infiltrated into the various branches of mathematics. Set in the mathematical concepts at the primary, secondary math curriculum, in order to build and understand some mathematical background can not be avoided. Set for Elementary Mathematics and the other concept, a unique, it is not based on specific backgrounds and in all subjects of infiltration. This other than the definition of the concept or understanding to increase the difficulty of learning to the students and teachers teaching brought about many difficulties. Set contents of this chapter makes learning as simple as it appears it will be difficult to comprehend with in-depth knowledge.Through collective self Test Measurement and case interviews combination of statistical analysis and research on the basis of the following questions: (1) high school students understanding of the concept of the pool(?) (2) high school students on the relationship between symbols and set computing symbols understanding how(?) (3) Students Set understanding of the concept, what are the problems(?) Selected object of study is an ordinary Changchun City senior high a grade four classes of students, a total of 200.The results show that: the pool of high school students in the understanding of the concept of the overall situation for the medium and high side (out of 57, average income divided into 41.88), and there is no significant gender differences (P greater than 0.05).
