With the situation of quality education, the most important task for music teaching is how to stimulate students to love music in junior middle school, to lure students into music life, and get a hobby and interests in music. It can be carried out by enjoying music. Enjoying music plays an very important role in music education, also it is an important way to teach music. The students will get more chance to touch music through enjoying music, widen their fields of vision, in order to train them to gain a healthy feeling of the beautiful, raise their aesthetic standards, and improve them all aspects harmoniously. Enjoying music is not only showed in class, but also showed in teaching music and music theory, it exists anywhere in music teaching, so it helps to strengthen and improve teaching methods through finding out the present situation of enjoying music in junior middle school.This paper takes ways of questions on paper, interview, and investigation in two schools in Huhhot. How is like in enjoying music at present? The second grade students in these two schools showed quite different interests in enjoying music, the surroundings and conditions have obvious difference, but teachers in two schools have the same teaching music ability. The teaching result is not satisfied.
