Since the reform and opening up policy implemented, we have obtained remarkable agricultural achievements in China, however we should still clearly realize that agriculture task is arduous and gigantic, the core capacity of agriculture has not changed fundamentally, there were excess irreversible factors, agriculture were a weak industry still vulnerable to Wind and waves, farmers were still weak groups of large numbers, low vocational skills and comparative poverty. The number of farmers is so large that it stored plenty of potential, and low job skills indicated that the urgency for vocational education. Vigorously carry out an agricultural vocational education, for implementing the "CPC Central Committee on improving the socialist market economic system's, questions" spirit, accelerating the pace of building a well-off society in rural areas, increasing their income, promoting rural residual labor absorbed and transferred , increasing the majority of farmers employment and the ability of running new entrepreneurship , expanding the field of agricultural development, further clarifying the responsibilities of management in agricultural industry , improving agricultural vocational college (school) market competitiveness, establishing modern agricultural vocational education system according to the socialist market economic rules and providing decision-making basis to the government and the relevant departments , are of great significance.Referred to domestic and international's relevant research results, applying standardized analysis and empirical analysis methods, the dissertation analyzed the present condition and restricted factor of agricultural vocational education in China. According to professional farmers'differentiation trends and development needs of modern agriculture, this dissertation positioned accurately the agricultural vocational education's functions, established a basic framework of modern agriculture vocational education system, defined the key construction fields, and designed its operating mechanism, and advanced supply system and some policy recommendations for implementing agricultural vocational education.The dissertation contained six chapters:Chapter 1, Introduction. This chapter illustrates the research background, the purpose and fundamental significance, general review, the analyzed ideas and methods, innovation.Chapter 2, Development present situation of China's agricultural vocational education. This chapter introduced China's development process and basic experience of agricultural vocational education, and analyzed its existing problems and main obstacles of restricting improvement.Chapter 3, Agricultural vocation classification. Agricultural vocation classification is the foundation and basis of implementing agricultural vocational education. From the perspective of establishing modern agriculture, this chapter analyzed the necessary for agricultural vocation classification and its existing problems, and referred to the practical experiences of agricultural vocation classification in majority of countries and regions, it put forward the ideas, principles and main contents of vocational education in China. Chapter 4, Establishment of modern agriculture vocational education system. Firstly, this chapter expatiated the function of agriculture vocational education. Then, from its objectives, principles, a systematical frame and operational mechanism etc, it constructed a basic framework of modern agriculture vocational education system, and proposed role conversion between implementation organization and management organization.Chapter 5, Agricultural vocational education assessment system. This chapter, based on agricultural vocational education's rules and characteristics, expatiated its potential significance, guiding ideology and principle, and constructed a agricultural vocational education comprehensive evaluation system, including five-level, 26specific indicators.Chapter 6, Implementation of agricultural vocational education policy recommendations. Based on the preceding analysis, this chapter drew some policy recommendations for implementing agricultural vocational education.
