| As the primary conditions of all material production industry and non-material production industry to exist and develop, agriculture acts as the essential guarantee for supporting the development of national economy. It is of great significance for overall economy development to achieve stable agricultural growth. Agricultural-vocational education is a kind of educational mode that aims to cultivate the technical talents serving agriculture, whose development is the effective path to fulfill agricultural modernization. Through analyzing the current development status of Guangxi agricultural-vocational education, the developing problems and the causes are presented in this thesis; furthermore, the countermeasures to promote this kind of education mode are set forth.This paper is composed of six chapters:Chapter one is introduction which illustrates the studying purpose and its meaning, the related rationales and the literature reviews.Chapter two discusses the necessity of developing Guangxi agricultural-vocational education from the following four aspects: the needs of its modernized agriculture development; the needs on coordinative development of three main industries in Guangxi economy; the needs of Guangxi economy for sustainable development; the needs on the development of agricultural science.The third chapter firstly briefs the current economy development in Guangxi; then the developing history of its agricultural-vocational education is stated; the last point focuses on analyzing contemporary conditions of agricultural-vocational education in Guangxi from the aspects of school education and technical training, both of which are also applied into the analysis of the problems and the causes during the development of Guangxi agricultural-vocational education in following chapter four.The main problems in the development of agricultural-vocational schools are: 1). enrollment difficulty in these schools; 2). the graduates majoring in agriculture are hard to find a satisfactory job; 3). a low-level research. The causes of former problems are analyzed from farmers'viewpoint, agricultural-vocational schools'charging, the demand structure of labor market and talents fostering mode. While the major problems in the development of the training on agricultural-vocational technique include: 1). the systematical problems existing in the spread of agricultural technique are unbeneficial to unfold the skills training; 2). unsound stimulative mechanism and unsound evaluating mechanism result in the low working efficiency during the education of agricultural technique generalization;3).the curriculum on agricultural technique is unreasonably set; 4). the farmers'comparatively-low cultural proficiency makes it more difficult to implement the skills training. The productive reasons are discussed from economy system, the recognition of educational institution to agricultural-vocational cultivation, the history, economic development, etc.Chapter five illustrates the developing experiences of agricultural-vocational education in America (which contain:①supporting agricultural-vocational education by legislation;②supporting it by increasing governmental inputs;③interaction between its development and market; 4)various flexible teaching approaches)and in Japan (which include:①promoting agricultural-vocational development by law-making;②the high quality of rural residents promoting its development;③Japanese elementary education laid a foundation for the development of agricultural-vocational education;④government implementing a variety of preferential policies on the graduates in agricultural-vocational schools;⑤stressing the combination between theories and practice, especially the practical teaching) respectively. Chapter six, based on the problems existing in agricultural-vocational education in Guangxi and the causes, and referring to the developing experiences of the USA and Japan in the respect, proposes some countermeasures to boost the development of agricultural- vocational education in Guangxi in terms of school education and technical training. Measures promoting the development of school education on agriculture mainly include: 1). speeding up the industrialization of agriculture in Guangxi so as to increase the market demand for students'majoring in agriculture; 2). reinforcing propaganda to enhance rural residents'realization on agricultural-vocational education; 3). increasing appropriation on the part of the country to reduce the tuitions charged by vocational schools based on the farmers'income level; 4). strengthening the support to those poor students majoring in agriculture; 5). Optimizing the structure of majors in market-oriented way; 6). strengthening practical teaching; 7). aiding those graduates majoring in agriculture by the country if they want to undertake an enterprise; 8). enhancing vocational guiding to the students; 9). increasing expenditures on teachers to enhance the scientific research in agricultural vocational schools. Measures aimed to boost the development of vocational technical training in the aspect of agriculture mainly include: 1). advancing system reform by setting up township-level agricultural technology promotion agencies in dispatch form; 2). strengthening ideological education as well as introducing sound incentive mechanism and sound evaluating mechanism to reform management in the respect; 3). resetting the technical training courses; 4). taking certain measures to enhance farmers'qualities; 5). carrying out the technical training according to local circumstances. |
