Internet is becoming more and more important to learning and communication of deaf people.Researchers and educators have created much internet softwares to support them. However, playing internet games and chatting with net-friends are two main purposes of using internet by deaf people, and these maybe bring some dangers to deaf people, especially when net-friends want to meet with each other, communication on internet become into truth in life.This article consists two sections. In the first section, the author analyzed the research on internet chat and social information processing. In the second section, questionnaire investigation was used to study the state of internet chat of deaf students, especially of the attitude to invitation of meeting each other by net-friends; and experiment was used to explore the characteristics of social information processing of deaf students dealing with the invitation of meeting each other by net-friends .The results suggest:1 Many deaf children like internet chat, they put much time on internet chat, they usually surf on the internet at home, and by QQ\MSN.2 The main purposes of deaf students'internet chat are playing internet game and killing leisure time, they usually talk with their friends or classmates and discuss the topic of internet game.3 The deaf students concern about net friends' hearing,age on the internet.4 Many deaf children Wouldn't expose their pritive information,and they wouldn't believe net-friengd's information which open on the internet.5 The number of information which the deaf could recall is very little, but high school studengs could recall more informations than junior school students. The deaf children usually recall the information such as net-friends' age, hearing and profession.6 Most of the deaf consider net-friends' interview as behavior with harm intention, but in different story, the deaf students have different explainations to the netfriends' intention.7 The deaf chilaren couldn't find more manners to reply the request of meeting, but high school studengs could find more manners than junior school students.8 The deaf students couldn't pilot rearch to net-friends'meeting, much of them have negative inspection to meet net-friends and even reject to meet.9 Much of the deaf students would reject to meet net-friends if he\she has been invited.
