Research On The Repayment Of The Student Loan

Since 1999 National Student Loan Policy has been implemented.With the large-scale of repayment, the repayment of National Student Loan has become the hot spot of social concern and the focal point for the researchers. The Situation of the repayment rate plays a major role in the process of the development of National Student Loan. How to reduce the default rate has becomed the significant research topic.This article is an Empirical research, combining the interview and questionnaire. By the survey of the research object,this paper display what is the important factors affecting the repayment of student loan,then, analyze the reasons for the default.Finally,there is some suggestion for improving the repayment policy.The main contents of the paper include:Firstly,this article analyze the appearing background,present the fundamental goals and main content of this paper,then,the process of the research is presented.At the second part,the paper analyze the present research situation of the repayment of the student loan,and,introduce the methods of this article.At the third part,combining the survey data of the resalt of interview,the paper present the economic situation and economic burden of the student, the attitude for the repayment ,and analyze the factors for the effection to the repayment.At last,the main conclusions of the paper are as follows:First,evil intention default is only individual phenomenon , simple honesty education to improve the situation of the repayment not having a remarkable effect;Second, mandatory measure is difficult to promote the students to repay their loan; Third,the lower income and the heavy financial burden become the main factors for hindering from returning money back on schedule; Fourth,to making up the diversifying mechanism for the loan student has a urgent demand; Fifth,Providing the forceful preferential measure to improve the payment is the effective means; Finally,there are some suggestion that perfect the mechanism of the repayment for current loan paying mechanism of our country.
