| In The Directions for Enhancing and Improving thought and political education of university jointly issued, in August, 2004, by Chinese Communist Party and State Department, it is explicitly that we must strengthen the construction of campus culture, and regard it as an effective method of enhancing thought and political education of university student. Therefore, we must enhance the construction of campus culture and fully display its function of moral education. Only do this, can we train successors of fully construction peaceful society in China, and assist universities to bring up high inner quality talented persons.This paper takes Marxism and Leninism, Mao Zedong thoughts, Deng Xiaoping's theory, Three Represents, and the Spirit of the Seventeenth General Meeting of Chinese Communist Party to be our directions, and abides by the methodology of combining theory with practice, coupled with the methods of document, investigation, discussing. Accordingly, the paper deeply quests and studies the functions of moral education of campus culture.In the paper,firstly, some concepts on culture and campus culture are defined, and the features and moral education function of campus culture are examined in details, and secondly, based on the result of questionnaires, some problems on the functions of moral education of campus culture are analyzed and pointed out, such as insufficient in guiding,in restricting and adjusting, in urging, and in blazing new trails; and further more the reasons are found, such as international circumstance, market economy, society culture, the problems of campus culture construction and difficulties of moral education; Finally, with reference to some experiences of successful new campus, solutions are given to these problems. In connection with the problems and reasons, and with reference relevant documents and the information from the questionnaires,four methods are put forward ,such as strengthening the culture construction of material, spirit, system and behavior. |
