The Research Of Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Education In China

With the global trend of economy and development of China's socialism market-oriented economy system, the great effect of employment creation upon the development of economy has been paid more and more attention to. Meanwhile, the development of social economy requires more and more higher quality talented person. Judging from the situation of economy development and the innovation and development of education, it is urgent to carry out entrepreneurship education, and it is inevitable trend of the epoch and social development.To strengthen entrepreneurship education, at April 2002, ministry of education chose nine universities as the experimental units of entrepreneurship education. They are Qinghua University, Beihang University, and so on. During the past five years, these universities all made a lot of achievements and accumulated much experience.According to the research, the thesis summarizes the characteristics of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship practice, discusses the blocks existing in our country. Suggestions to the entrepreneurship education development are also given in the end.This thesis consists of five parts:Chapter one narrates the origin of entrepreneurship education and it's evolution and comes to the conclusion that to carry out entrepreneurship education is the trend of the innovation in higher education.Chapter two analyzes the two concepts of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in theory circles home and abroad, and discusses the relationship between entrepreneurship education and quality education, and then points out this thesis will discuss entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education on the broadest meaning.Chapter three reviews the procedure of the development of entrepreneurship education in China. First the author summarizes some primary achievements, and then describes the existing problems of the entrepreneurship education. Chapter four gives a brief introduction about the development and research of entrepreneurship education in America, and sums up the characteristic of American college entrepreneurship education, then contrast it with our China's.Chapter five puts forth some main aspects in promoting the entrepreneurship education for our country. Particularly, it is urgent to draw up the syllabus of entrepreneurship education.
