A Study On Feng Zikai's Chilren Art Education Theory

Abstract/Summary:
Feng Zikai, an outstanding person as a litterateur, painter, art educationist, architecture historan, art theorist, calligrapher and the translator of the 20th century, is well known in China. Nowadays, much attention has been paid to him and much research has been done about his works. But, little research was focus on his thought of the children' s art education. This paper investigates the current status and research significance of Feng Zikai' s children' s art education theory, makes it' s main content clearly in details, and points out it' s characters including one' s own department, instinct, environment and experience attributes. Based on the children' s nature and individuality, feng zikai designed the study styles for the children, and advocated interesting fashions to do the art education, and the goal was to culture the children' s pure heart. In this paper, the cause of feng zikai' s children art education theory has been completely discussed, and the research finds that the family education, artic ideal and various modern art education theory have put great effect on the formation of feng zikai' s children art education theory. Also, the analysis to it' s history limits has been done in this paper. After the investigation and analysis of feng zikai' s children art education theory, based on the reality and current status of Chinese children art education, this paper draws the conclusion that much action to the living experience and the difference of individuality should be paid in children art education, and the correct leading to children is necessary.
