Schools, as the main place of moral education for the youth, have a major impact on the growth of moral character of the youth. However, there are still many problems, out of which teacher problem is a main reason, in the current works of moral education in primary and secondary schools, leading to the inefficiency of the school moral education. Concentrating on teacher problem in the school moral education, not only can it contribute to explore the reasons for the moral problems of young people, but also be effective in moral education work of the rural schools. In this study, the author used mainly the methodology of empirical survey, conducting a questionnaire survey of 150 secondary school teachers and 300 students within five secondary schools of Xiang Yin County, containing interviews with several teachers and students, to access to first-hand information for the research. Through the deep analysis of the moral concept, responsibility awareness, moral quality, moral knowledge, and the lack of the ability, in the process of moral education of school teachers, which leads to the disability of moral education, and with the real life of the teachers, the research tries to probe into the reasons of the teacher problem , in order to find effective ways to solve it.This thesis is comprised of four parts, the first part begin s with the current inefficiency of the school moral education, and by which leads to teacher problem in conducting moral education; the second part discuss several teachers problem resulted in inefficient school moral education, based on the investigation of the rural middle school of Xiang Yin County ; the third part is on five Moral aspects of the living conditions of rural teachers, the examination-oriented education in rural areas, rural teacher training and raising channels, the new features of the students, teachers pluralism and conflict, to analyze the root of teacher problem resulting in the inefficient school moral education; the fourth part is on how to solve teacher problem of inefficient school moral education, by further thought on the basis of previous research, with a view of that this research can help current school moral education, specially for the school in the rural areas.
