Research On Female College Students Self-love And The Relation Between Self-love And Parental Rearing Method

Female college students as a very important department of college students develop well on the whole. Accompanying the development of socialistic market economy and the diversification of values,self-love crisis becomes more and more ordinary. Many of former researches on female college students self-love still stay in theory stage, few people use statistic methods to do experimentation. So it has the important value to organize a questionnaire about female college students self-love and explore the status of self-love of them in order to provide gists for education.Base-on overviews of former research and open-ended questionnaire, this study organize a questionnaire about female college students self-love. with the organized questionnaires,I explore the female college students self-love differences in the various backgrounds.Moreover, the relations between self-love and parental rearing method are researched.And several suggestions are proposed to educate the self-love of female college students.Through analysis and discussion,the main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) female college students self-love questionnaireThe self-made questionnaire has good reliability and fair validity.By using the factor analysis, the questionnaire has seven factors : self-denial,rigorously upward,health care,self-master,cherishing life,self-responsibility,strong optimism.(2) female college students self-love statusa.On the whole, the status of female college students self-love is trend to good aspect.b.It exists academic certificate characteristic among female college students self-love level of self-master,and the level of collegians is lower than undergraduate students.c.It exists apparent characteristic between singleton and non-singleton students self-love level of self-master,and non-singleton students get higher marks.d.It exists apparent characteristics among female college students self-love level.The science students get higher marks than arts students on the whole and in the factor of self-denial,self-master.e.There are no differences about self-love level in different birth places and grades. (3) the relation between self-love and parental rearing methoda.female college students self-love and parental rearing method are significantlyrelated.b.Regression analysis revealed that parental overprotection and emotional-warmth canforecast female college students self-love level.
