With the promulgation of "new high school physics curriculum standard ", a new round of curriculum reforms is gradually deepened and the teaching content, teaching methodologies and teaching requirements must be adjusted accordingly. Because physics is a subject based on the experiment, physics experiment plays an important role in physics teaching. However, because of both subjective and objective factors, such as weak basic experimental facilities for years, one-sided pursuit of further studies, and inadequate attention to physics experiments, and so on, the experimental teaching becomes subordinate status to the theoretical teaching, and even actual observation and hands-operation are replaced by oral presentation on theory and experiment, which has emerged in the physics teaching theories divorced from reality and students with high scores but little ability. To that end, middle school physics experimental teaching reform is crucial. Thus it is imperative to understand the specific conditions of the current high school physics experimental teaching, to thoroughly implement the new education philosophy in "high school physics curriculum standard" and to promote high school physics experiment teaching reform.Experiment teaching reforms before are reviewed first in this dissertation. Successively, the new curriculum's function of improving students' experimental ability is analyzed and latter comes the comparative analysis on the experimental parts in new curriculum text books (PEP edition) with those in the present editions, hence come out the differences on the experimental contents, methods and concepts. On that account, the author designs a questionnaire concerning physics experiment teaching behavior and physical experiment studying behavior, the questionnaire results are analyzed. And combing the literature analysis of experimental teaching and hands-on surveys in high school conducted in the region, the author points out the problems existed in teaching physics experiment. These problems indicate that there still exists larger gap between current physics experiment teaching in high schools and requirements of new curriculum standard. Then in conjunction with local realities and modern learning theories, the author put forward some proposals and typical teaching designs concerning experimental teaching problems, hoping to benefit the current physics experiments teaching reform.
