One of the ideas of the new turn of elementary education curriculum reform is reforming the way of study, recommending probing into scientifically, It points out that probing into scientifically has irreplaceable function on improving the students'scientific accomplishment. Researchers and people correlated with the field of scientific inquiring teaching are concerned about certain issues: In what degree has this study developed so far? What theoretical level has the study reached? What is the composition of the researching group? Are there any relevant studies and what are their relations? Are there any remaining problems to be solved? What is the potentiality for its development? With the same concern the present author accomplished this thesis. Based upon the 504 selected documents, this thesis is also a general review of the scientific inquiring teaching research in science education of China, discusses its achievements and problems, and then tries to find out its general rules and troubleshooting methods.This thesis is made up with the following four parts:Part I Introduction. In this part the author briefs the main content of the thesis, explains the reason why to choose such a subject, and tells the objective and significance of such subject in detail.Part II, it is necessary to judge the proper range and objects to study. After that, finally calculate and analyze the objects from various angles of content, method of study, researcher and quoted passages. Because the studying objects of this thesis are documents, and the way of study is based upon documentary metrology rules, the following research methods are applied: documentary metrology, documentary, quantitative& qualitative study, and comparative study.Part III, in this part the author makes detailed classification, statistics and analysis of the selected documents from various angles of content, method of study and researcher with the methods as introduced in Part II..Part IV, Based upon the research results in Part III, the author summarizes in this part the development trend of the scientific inquiring teaching research, discusses problems existed in the research and suggests countermeasures and solutions.
