| The New Curriculum Standard of Senior Mathematics demands higher standards of and advances more requiresments for the math teachers in China who are confronted with new problems and challenges."Function"is the core and the main line of senior mathematics which unites all main parts through this course. It constitutes a large proportion, is closely related to and exerts a great influence upon equation, inequation and ordered series of numbers, etc.Therefore, senior high school teachers should step up the teaching research on it, esp. on"Chapter 2--Function"of Senior Mathematics.The concept of function has always been exerting a great effect upon the development of mathematics. Today, as a result, function pervades in every branch of mathematics. Felix Klein, the famous German mathematician, called function"the soul"of mathematics and insisted that the concept of function should become"the cornerstone"of high school mathematics. There is a long history of the development of function. The introduction of this history in class helps the students'understanding and mastery of it.Grade 1 students in senior high schools often lose their interest and heart in mathematics due to the poor mastery of"Chapter 2 --Function". It results from the fact that the teachers failed to teach this chapter based on the quality of the students'math thinking and they were not fully aware of the obstacles in it, which made the teachers fail to teach students in accordance with their aptitude. In the process of learning and solving problems, the students display differences which indicate the differences in individual thinking ability and quality. Therefore, the research on the students'math thinking decides the teaching effect.In the research on and the learning of the concept and quality of function, the function graph, the visual aid, is the breakthrough point. Since function is abstract, the poor teaching effect of it has been a problem for a long time. With the popularization and the employment of computer drawing technology in all circles, the new technology has also been employed in function teaching both home and abroad, which in turn promotes the development of function teaching in depth. Through the analysis of the content and the changes of the function graphs in the textbooks, the thesis illustrates the necessity and advantages of employing information technology into function teaching.Figuring out feasible and effective teaching tactics, the author implements her teaching with multimedia technology based on senior high school students'math thinking characteristics. The teaching is interesting and the students are interested. Of course, the good teaching effect is achieved. |
