Similar to the intimate relationship between vocational education and economic development, secondary technical education do exert a marvelous promotion on the booming of local economic.The engineering trade schools of Inner Mongolia region have cultivated a large number of technical talented people who will reinforce the power that accelerating the development of local industrialization process. However, during this process some defect appears, including the unreasonable arrangement, the nonstandard process of specialized fields'setting, the insufficient hardware, the shortage of the computing technique in specialized fields. These problems obstruct the better service which the schools should have offered to the economic construction of Inner Mongolia region.The article which is based on the study of theory and actuality analysis tries to put forward some proposition on the mayor setting in the engineering trade schools of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The discourse is mainly divided into three parts:The first part is theory study, including the connotation and extension and the influence factor of the mayor setting in the secondary vocational schools. And there is still some successful experience about the mayor setting of secondary vocational schools in both China and other countries. This part forms the basic theory of the mayor setting in the secondary vocation schools.The second part is actuality analysis. In this part the article analyzes the actuality and some existent problems of mayor setting in the engineering trade schools of Inner Mongolia region.The third part which is based on the actuality and some existent problems of mayor setting in the engineering trade schools of Inner Mongolia region concretely sets forth some basic problems of the mayor setting in the secondary vocation schools, and puts forward some proposition on the mayor setting in the engineering trade schools of Inner Mongolia region.This thesis belongs to a utility research. It is the basic way of thinking that insisting the combination of theories and practice and emphasizing the utility.
