The relationship between current affairs education and teaching of ideology and politics is more and more close. In the article the author researched current affairs and politics teaching. It is started with current affairs education, inquired into the relationship between current affairs education and teaching of ideological and political, and further analysis the countermeasures which combining the current affairs education and the teaching of ideological and political .The subject carried out the investigation in the No.5 middle school of Zhijin county in Guizhou province, and knowledge the current affairs education's statue and function in the political teaching. Through adopting document method, the author collected a large number of historical materials and relevant document that current affairs education. Through researching the history of the current affairs education and politics lesson, then investigated their relation change.The current affairs education's intension is the policy education or situation of current events educates, and the range is relatively wide. The research make further supplement about the history of current affairs education. The current affairs education had been the supplement of the politics lesson, the relationship with the politics lesson changed several times. The two from dependent course developed into independent course, later the current affairs education were gradually contained by the politics lesson, and then became the important supplement part of political lesson.
