| The 21st century has seen the era of information when education is faced with new challenges which demand more for education of brainpower and reforms, with IT education at the peak, holding more and more attention of the whole world. National Education Department held a meeting on IT education in primary and middle schools across the country in October 2000, marking the formal start of it. From that moment on, we are confronted with a totally new goal to develop the IT accomplishment of the students. Eight years has passed and great development has been achieved both theoretically and practically. In recent years, IT has been part of National Matriculation. However, whether we truly aim at developing the IT accomplishment of the students can been peeked from the textbooks which just resemble the product introduction books, oriented on technology teaching, as well as the assessment mainly on operation. The reason lies in the content and goal of the Guidelines of IT Course in Primary and Middle Schools (Proposed), demanding too much for technology education and marked with modularization of operation techniques. Thus, both in textbooks and the minds of teachers is kept the former mode of IT course centering on operation techniques. Nevertheless, numerous experts have discovered this and studied corresponding measures. IT Course Standards for Senior High School (Trial) released in the reforms of Senior High courses detailed the goals of different levels and rebuilt the content, teaching methods and assessment mode, bringing in a truly new atmosphere of reform on the new course.On this issue comes the aim of the thesis to further optimize the current IT course for compulsory education, making it of more pertinence, instruction and operation, which is loaded in the IT activities and is to develop the IT accomplishment of the students and contemporarily realizes the combination and joint of different school periods, especially the compulsory education and senior education for systematization and incorporation.A survey and research, with Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone as the subject, has been carried out about the problems with IT course during the compulsory education, large amounts of essential documents and works in this field having been consulted, the essence of national and international research brought in. Besides, a lot of work, including visiting students, collecting questionnaires has been done, basically in details as follows:1. Analysis and refinement on the aim of IT course during the compulsory education period.The definite aim of the IT education during the compulsory period is to develop their IT accomplishment which is also explained. The thesis follows the description of the goals of Senior High School IT course in IT Course Standards for Senior High School (Trial), which are portrayed in details in the following three ways: knowledge and technique, process and method, emotional attitude and value.2. To begin with the detailed aim, teaching content, teaching method and ways of appraising have been tried, studied and practiced, resulting in a whole set of scheme. A summary of the practice and some references are brought forward, which are believed to contribute to the improvement of the performance of the IT education during the compulsory education period in our country. They also help train new society talents with quality and abilities and improve the entire quality of teachers, further to reform basic education courses.The creative points of the thesis are found in the following:Teaching content is based on the main thread of"Information Activities", which is divided into four sections: recognizing and gathering, filing and managing, processing and expressing, releasing and communicating, each combining on various levels knowledge and technique, process and method, emotional attitude and value. It denies the former organization of textbooks which focus on knowledge teaching and technique training. Based on various characteristics and requirements of different education periods, detailed"Information Activities"are ranged into four main sections. Suitable teaching methods and activities employed, the students can build their IT accomplishment through experiencing these, in which their study advances with the help of multi-analysis, thus to better the development of their accomplishment. |
