The educational management discipline has more than 100 year's history until now, which is the logistic development of educational management discipline history. However, the content system of educational management is one of groping themes in educational management field. This paper tries to construct an original educational content system, which reviews educational management discipline development history, and integrates the historical and realistic backgrounds.The first part of this paper is introduction, which mainly introduces the composition backgrounds, core concepts and research means.The second part is composition summarization, which summarizes the achievements studied by the scholars both home and overseas. At the same time , this part indicates the achievements' defects bases on the analysis.The third one of this paper mainly introduces the development of educational management discipline in western countries. The western scholars commenced studying educational management discipline from the early of 20th century. In the western countries, the development of educational management discipline experienced 4 stages: classical management theory, interpersonal relation theory, behavioral science theory and the theory movement.The fourth charter chiefly recommends the development of educational management discipline in China. The Chinese educational management discipline experienced 4 stages: imitating Japanese educational management theory, naturalizing Western educational management theory, following the lead of Soviet Union and the nativism from 1980s. Nowadays, the educational management discipline has evolved a discipline, the content system has become one of concerned problems.The last section of this paper advances an original educational management content system, which bases on the foregoing discussions. According to the unification of science principle of history and logic, educational management discipline has evolved a structural system of "consolidate five separate parts into an effective integer". This system takes the educational management discipline principle as the theory trunk, takes the educational administration and school management as the practical wings, and takes the educational management foundation and educational management discipline's methods as the pivot. Furthermore, the educational management foundation involves the disciplinary concept, object and disciplinary quality. The educational management discipline principles include educational management planning, educational management organization, educational management motivation and educational management control. The educational administration comprises educational policy, educational supervision, educational evaluation and educational finance. The school management contains teaching management, personnel management, public relation and school brand management. The research ways and means consist of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.
