Improving vocational school teachers information faculty is an important measure, which is the strategy of developing vocational education greatly and promoting vocational education information. On the basis of making clear vocational school teachers information faculty connotation, we take the method of interviewing and questionnaire to make a large amount of basic survey of vocational school teachers information faculty' status in west areas of Gansu province. We found out the disadvantage factors which restraint teachers information faculty' s promoting after deeply analyzing the survey materials, and put forward five pieces of advice in accordance with developing: (1) Transforming the conception to guide more teachers to study the information education.(2) Reinforcing vocational schools modern education technology equipments in order to provide material conditions for improving teachers information faculty. (3) Creating IT application atmosphere to promote teachers information faculty in practical application. (4) Intensifying and optimizing the various training to improve teachers information faculty level truly. (5) Implementing evaluation system to stimulate teachers to promote their information faculty level.Finally, we make a summary to this research work to absorb the experiences to make bases for the work in the future.
