《Ordinary Senior Secondary School Biology Curriculum Criterion(experimentation)》was put to use in the autumn of 2007 in Zhejiang province,which brought up new concepts and teaching methods.New theory, new concept and new method which adapt to the standard of teaching are being studied at present. In this paper, the author deeply discussed and studied the case method of teaching and introduced it into the history of biology of Senior Two by a mutable analysis and comparison, aiming at surmounting the limitation of the actual method of teaching.The case method of teaching has been basing on a certain teaching purpose,it is a teaching method of choosing proper cases throughout the teaching course to organise the students to analyse,discuss and do research.Through the interaction between students and teachers,the students' ability can be practised and good quality can be developed.Basing on the cases and communication between teachers and students are the characteristics of it.Its purpose is to develop the abilities and promote all-around development of the students.This article will tell us the application of the case method of teaching in biological course in the following aspects.First,it analyses the theoretical foundation of the case methods of teaching.Second,it tells us the characteristics of the case methods of teaching.Third,it brings up the requests of the application of the case method of teaching in biological course.(of the cases,the teachers and the students).Fourth,it discusses the compose and the basic course of scientific cases by examples,combined with the text.Fifth,it does research with experiments by using comparision and combining with the teaching practice. Finally,this article summarized the case methods of teachingmethod application enlightenment,at the same time had pointed out in the application existence question,and to implemented,the case methods of teaching to put forward the essential proposal.The application of the case method of teaching in biological course will graduate develop into and the effect of this kind of teaching is increasingly significant, along with a constant reform of biological teaching, even though the study of the case method of teaching is still in starting stage currently.
