Responsibility education (RE) refers to the activities that the educators cultivate and strengthen the students' diathesis and consciousness of responsibility with aim and plan, engendering the students strong sense of obligation and behaviors of responsibility. It is the core content and breakthrough of college student moral education, definitude require of the Party and the Government, basic demand of talent cultivation in the future era, promised content of college moral education, practical needs for establishing harmonious campus, essential pathway of strengthen college students' sense of responsibility.In recent years, college students' lack of obligation consciousness draws the attention of educators, especially moral educators. RE, as an essential content of college student moral education, has drawn more and more attention of the educators. However, there are still problems that we have to face. Firstly, a number of higher educators have not enough recognition on RE, RE in colleges has no proper status, and there is a lack of systemic content, not to mention comparatively independent system. RE is, by some means, neglected. In the second place, it lacks strength of cooperation. RE is a systemic engineering, which requires cooperation of institutes and families, as well as concert social environment. This cooperation has not been fund. Parents' are not enough evolved, direction of public opinion are not correspond. What is more, responsibility evaluate and distribute mechanisms are distempered, behaviors with responsibility are not properly guerdoned, those without responsibility are not punished, which contradicts the RE in schools. RE's management mechanism, evaluation and intendance are distempered. Finally, as to the content and format of RE, not enough pertinence are made towards the students, most work is done on basis of collectivity mobilization, but painstaking, even one to one education are neglected, as well as the exert of students' own trafficability. RE's management, evaluation, supervise mechanism is distempered, effect of RE among college students is still minor.Currently, innovation of RE requires enhance cognition of RE's essentiality, definitize its status; enrich and consummate its content; insist the emphasize of students' own trafficability, associate collectivity and individual education, emphasize of practice, integrative infiltrate and comprehensive influence; integrate academic education, leading, environment edification, and system restriction, to ameliorate RE methods; make sufficient use of the cooperation of families, society and colleges, make daily and class moral education the brief pathway, combine RE to students' activities in Party/League and the students' union, and all kinds of social practice, keep consummating the system and mechanism, making the college students RE more pertinent and substantial, really fulfill the RE for college students. |
