The Present Status Of College Students’ Social Responsibility

Today’s College students as builders and successors for the socialist modernization in China, realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation the main force of Chinese dream,shouldering past and future of the responsibility of the times, who is the face of the times show, shapers of character of the times and carry forward the spirit of the times. Today’s College students’ sense of social responsibility, strong or weak, the success or failure of the Socialist cause in China, construction of a Socialist harmonious society, but also college students ’ healthy growth. On economic globalization and political multi-polarization,information networking, value pluralism, education under the background of mass, how do today’s status quo of college students ’ social responsibility, how to foster college students ’social responsibility is an important topic worthy of further study. This solve the problem of college students’ sense of social responsibility, root cause analysis, and proposed countermeasures for cultivating college students ’ sense of social responsibility to provide some help.Paper documents, observation, questionnaire analysis. Literature collection at home and abroad in the field of study results, such as papers, books, monographs, and the analysis of data collected, compared and filtered, which summarizes main problems of today’s College students’ social responsibility. Direct contact by means of observation of today’s College students, understand the realities of their social responsibility, analyze the causes of problems in its social responsibility. By means of questionnaires to the Xian University of science and technology, Northwestern University, Shaanxi Normal University, and ten the status quo of college students ’ social responsibility survey, statistics and analysis, and surveys show that today’s College students ’ social responsibility, the following main issues: ideal and belief bias;the spirit of arduous struggle weakened; lack of Gratefulness; excellent traditional culture and heritage awareness; sense of responsibility and accountability of line. In view of the above analysis of the reasons for this include: effects of negative factors in society, school andfamily education misunderstandings; educator misconduct; the complex moral environment;the special physical and mental state of college students. Comprehensive research on the theoretical analysis and practical work, put forward the cultivation of college students ’ sense of social responsibility strategies: strengthening the educational content, establish a social ideal; optimization methods honed fighting spirit play a model role, improve the actual effect of moral education; to create a good atmosphere, enhancing confidence focusing on unity, and to foster their comprehensive development. Only with a high degree of social responsibility of college students today, can we truly achieve self-worth, shoulder the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, "China dream" historical mission.
