Optimum Population Research Of Shaanxi

The population plays an important role in the region sustainabledevelopment. In certain economic development level and certain resources hold level, the population scale oversized will hinder the regional economic development and reduce the per capita share of natural resources possessive amount simultaneously. These are don't favor the population, the economy, and resources coordinated development. Therefore, under the certain economic background, considering the resources binding force to discuss the region most appropriate population scale and conduct the research of the region optimum population, is the unevadable question.Based on region optimum population theory and region sustainable development population theory, analysed the affects of the optimum population of Shaanxi Province. Selected the EOP-MM model to conduct the quantitative investigation on economical optimum population of Shaanxi Province from 1996 to 2005. Simultaneously analysed the Shaanxi Province resources synthesis supporting capacity population scale, and discussed the population that suit in the population, the economy ,and the resources sustainable development optimum population of Shaanxi Province .The conclusions are as follow:(1) The economy optimum population of Shaanxi Province is smaller than the actual population from the year 1996 to 2005. So the Shaanxi Province population scale, the human quality as well as the population structure and the economic structure and the economic development were uncoordinated.(2) resources synthesis supporting capacity population of Shaanxi Province is smaller than the actual population from the year 1996 to 2005.There exists disparity with the actual population.(3) Through the economical optimum population and the resources synthesis supporting capacity's computation analysis, the research on the population, the economical, and the resources coordinated development's optimum population has conducted. That research has discovered the economical, the resources environment coordinated development's optimum population of Shaanxi Province from the year 1996 to 2005 .Finally it also smaller than the actual population scale.Therefore, the solution of the population problem is important, it will cause the population development and the economy, the resources adapts. So, it is the sustainable development important topic to Shaanxi Province. On base of two aspects, this article has put forward the strategic proposal. First, the control of the population, to reduce .Second, enhanced the optimum population, to reduce the disparity of optimum and actual population.
